Ambulance Victoria Assessment Centre
Ambulance Victoria has introduced a modern, best practice Assessment Centre to deliver a better experience for candidates and enable a more effective recruitment process.
The new structured assessment centre puts a stronger focus on the practical application of clinical knowledge and capabilities through scenario-based assessment.
All candidates will have the opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities through a mix of formal and informal, group and one-on-one assessments.
At the Assessment Centre, candidates are allocated to groups which rotate through three activities – a question and answer session, group assessment and behavioural interview. Each activity has a duration of approximately 60 minutes.
In line with our commitment to improving the physical and mental health, wellbeing and safety of our people, candidates are required to undertake Alcohol and Other Drug testing as part of their Medical and Physical Assessment, as well as Psychological Screening.
