Public Libraries Victoria. There are 291 public library branches, 233 mobile library stops, and 72 other library outlets in Victoria. At the heart of each library is a world of knowledge, potential, and inclusivity. Each is a safe, engaging and empowering place that is open to everyone to enjoy. As well as the physical items in a collection – books, DVDs, magazines, and newspapers – libraries offer access to a range of online resources, software, applications, research and learning tools plus public access computers, and WiFi. With all of that at your fingertips, it’s easy to see how libraries change lives

Black Dog Institute is a proudly independent not-for-profit medical research institute affiliated with UNSW Sydney. Since their foundation in 1985 as the ‘Mood Disorders Unit’ at Prince Henry Hospital, Sydney, they have been at the forefront of mental health research. Rapidly evolving to drive the creation of new knowledge and ensure that clinical best practice continues to be improved and refined in line with the latest evidence.

Today, their focus has expanded to address new challenges and opportunities in mental health – suicide prevention, digital innovation, lived experience, youth and workplace mental health.

 

Phoenix Australia is an expert in trauma-related mental health and wellbeing. For over 25 years, they have been Australia’s National Centre of Excellence in Posttraumatic Mental Health and internationally recognised leaders in our field. They are committed to driving forward the mental health agenda both at home and abroad.

AV psychology team works closely with Phoenix Australia on a number of projects, such as the AV Psychosocial Survey and the SOLAR program.
