Following a distinguished 45-year career in policing and emergency management, Andrew Crisp has been appointed as the next Board Chair of Ambulance Victoria.

Andrew joined the Ambulance Victoria board as a Director in June 2024 before his appointment as interim CEO in August.

Andrew will continue his role as interim CEO until Monday, 30 June 2025 when Jordan Emery begins his tenure as Chief Executive Officer.

“I would like to extend thanks and gratitude to Andrew for leading Ambulance Victoria as our Chief Executive Officer and I am delighted to be handing over the role of Board Chair to a leader who will continue to put our staff, patients and community at the centre of what we do,” said Board Chair Shelly Park.

"Thank you to AV for all they do, including the ongoing dedication to providing a high standard of frontline health and emergency care to the people of Victoria."

However, Shelly won’t be far away and is looking forward to continuing to watch the work of Ambulance Victoria and our dedicated front-line paramedics as she steps over to The Royal Women’s Hospital as Board Chair.

Shelly will conclude her tenure as Board Chair of Ambulance Victoria on 30 June 2025.
