Spring has sprung... and so has pollen!
Temperatures are rising and we look forward to spending more time outdoors. Get ahead of the season and update your asthma action plan.
Asthma is a serious airway condition that can become life-threatening if it’s not managed properly. It is vital to have an asthma action plan in place and be prepared for the season.
- Review your asthma action plan with your GP
- Keep your reliever medication within easy reach
- Know your triggers
- Stay aware of changing conditions
Adults should update their plan every year. Children should update their plan every six months.
Always follow your asthma action plan, but if you are having difficulty breathing and your reliever medicine is not helping, call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
