Losing a loved one unexpectedly is devastating. Having to discuss organ donation in the midst of it all, can make things even tougher. In 2010, Chloe tragically lost her younger brother Mitchell. While his life was cut short at just 18, Mitchell made an incredible difference to others by becoming an organ donor. This weekend we farewelled a true legend of AV.Chas Martin OAM, served his community for over 60 years, providing care for his many patients before embarking on a role preserving our history at the Ambulance Historical Society Museum. Anyone that ventured into the museum would be greeted with some cheeky banter, the offer of a cuppa, and a man who was full of passion for AV and its people.
