What is the program?
The 4 Steps for Life program is based on international research which provides evidence that self-instruction, using television or video can be as effective as classroom based CPR training programs and that retention is further assisted by simplification of the training to the four critical steps required to effectively assist a person in cardiac arrest.

The 4 Steps for Life program has been translated into 10 additional languages:
The video/DVD, fridge magnets and Answers to Common Questions sheets have been translated. The video incorporates using an interpreter when the triple zero (000) call is made. Remember that an interpreter is available when you call for an ambulance. While the calltaker is organising an interpreter provide the location details and an ambulance will be on its way.
