Routine transports (low acuity) where the expectation is that the patient won’t require any clinical care, assessment or monitoring while in transit but is unable to walk and unsuitable for wheelchair transport. An example would be a person requiring transport home from hospital.
Crewing consists of two qualified patient transport officers, one with a minimum of 12 months experience.
