The draft AV Strategic Plan 2009-12 is now available for external consultation and input. The Plan, which has been developed following a review of AV’s strategic direction by the Board of Directors and Executive Group. The review of our longer term strategies is a key part of the AV annual planning cycle, which includes development of the Annual Plan, Divisional Plans and the Budget.
The draft Plan builds on and develops further the previous MAS Strategic Plan for 2008-2010 and the draft RAV Strategic Plan. The Plan aims to maximise service efficiency as part of a wider integrated health network. Fostering staff development and welfare, developing internal capacity and organisational resources, and promoting health system and community initiatives are also key themes.
It is intended that the Plan will be finalised following a process of consultation with staff and external stakeholders, and your input would be very welcome.
