Being an Ambulance Victoria Corporate Partner earns you a special place at our club.
The cost of Ambulance Membership will increase slightly from 1 December, 2009, Ambulance Victoria, CEO Greg Sassella said today.
The fee for a single Ambulance Membership will increase to $75 (from $60) and the fee for a family Ambulance Membership will increase to $150 (from $120).
“This is the first fee increase for Ambulance Membership since 2006,” Mr Sassella said.
“At 21 and 42 cents per day respectively, Ambulance Victoria membership offers excellent value, providing 100 per cent cover with Australia’s best pre-hospital emergency care service.”
Renewal slips notifying members of the increase will be mailed out from next week.
“Our dedicated paramedics are treating more patients than ever before,” Mr Sassella said.
“Last year, Ambulance Victoria responded to 714,362 Victorians in need – providing care to almost 2000 Victorians every day.
“We’re encouraging all Victorians to join. Membership helps support the continued improvement of our service.”
The increase will directly support Ambulance Victoria to meet the growing demand from the Victorian community. Revenue from the membership scheme also assists in the recruitment and training of paramedics, as well as investment in new life-saving techniques and equipment.
