Who can complain?

A complaint about service provided by AV can be lodged by:

  • A patient
  • A patient’s family or friend (please note: AV may need the patient’s consent to investigate particular aspects of the complaint)
  • A patient’s doctor, carer or support service
  • A member of the Ambulance Victoria membership scheme
  • A receiving hospital
  • Members of Parliament, Health Services Commissioner or Ombudsman
  • A member of the public
