Ambulance Victoria (AV) is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Partner. This is a permanent, full time position based at our Bendigo office.

The HR Partner role will work closely with both the Loddon Mallee Regional Management team and the People and Workforce Strategy team. In conjunction with providing high level, professional human resource services and advice, you will also provide input into planning and undertake organisation wide portfolio projects in line with the overall AV strategy.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

• Regionally based workforce planning, recruitment and selection
• Position evaluation and advice
• Coaching and mentoring support to managers within the region
• EEO education and advice
• Assist with employee related issue resolution
• Case management activities

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in an HR generalist role, preferably within a public sector organisation and tertiary qualifications in human resources or related discipline is highly desirable. You will also have experience in the delivery of HR services within a state wide organisation and understanding of Cullen Egan Dell position evaluation methodology. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to gain acceptance and commitment to goals including the ability to modify style and behaviour to accommodate tasks, situations and individuals are essential to success in this role.

Applicants must hold a current Victorian driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout Victoria as required.
