Ambulance Victoria (AV) is currently recruiting for the full time permanent position of Community Funding Coordinator to work in the Community Education & Engagement (CEE) department. This position has the ability to be located in either South Melbourne or Mt Helen.
The primary objective of this position is for the efficient and effective coordination and administration of auxiliaries, donations, bequests and fundraising processes and systems, including maintaining collaborative relationships with community groups, AV auxiliaries and departments. This position is also responsible for identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures, and support the development and implementation of processes and frameworks that will improve the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of strategies and initiatives relating to auxiliaries, donations, bequests and fundraising.
To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated experience in business administration that is supported by a tertiary qualification, experience in engaging and communicating to a variety of audiences and community groups and experience in contributing to the development and implementation of departmental planning. Experience in the area of health promotion/education/engagement field/ fundraising is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Provide frontline customer service as the initial point of contact for CEE processes relating to AV Auxiliaries, donations, bequests and fundraising• Budgeting, financial and administration of AV auxiliaries, fundraising, donations and bequests including associated reporting• Manage end to end process for events/programs• Design, establish and maintain high level administration systems• Manage stock requirements of education and engagement materials• Collaborate with other divisions to manage processes, procedures and resources
